ERP PANEL

We are trying something new at this month’s Professional Development Meeting.  We will be hosting an ERP Panel of professionals from around the area who have been instrumental in the implementation of ERP for their company.  Each company selected a different system so there will be a variety of experiences discussed.  The panelists will also present theory as well as practical application.

Some of the questions that will be asked of the panelists are:

What was the business issue that you were working to solve?
Why did your company select ERP?
Why did your company select the particular system & software package it did?
Do you believe that your company is operating more effectively now that you have ERP?  If so, how?
What were some of the immediate benefits or measurable differences that you found upon becoming an ERP user?

There will also be time for questions and answers from the audience.

Our panel includes:

Jeff Davey, VP Information Systems, Bently Nevada

Jim Hayes, VP Operations, Haws Corporation

John Kirsh, CEO, Sportif

Ron Tibben-Lembke, Professor of Logistics, UNR

Our Moderator is Bruce Marshall.  Bruce is the senior managing associate of Prizm Solutions, with more than 25 years of comprehensive P&L experience in entrepreneurial and Fortune 100 manufacturing, service, sales and distribution operations. In his capacity as a President and CEO, and as a Vice President and Director of Manufacturing and Operations, Business Development, Quality, and Productivity, Bruce has led organizations through turnaround, critical startup and growth transitions; effectively spearheaded acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures; and has significant private placement and IPO experience. Bruce holds both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Illinois, and did his doctoral studies at the University of Pittsburgh.
